Querida familia rotaria:
Este domingo nos invita a reflexionar sobre la fuerza transformadora que vive en Rotary cuando combinamos historia, visión y unidad.
🟡 El ingreso de la mujer en Rotary: un hito que cambió nuestro servicio
Hace 37 años, Rotary International abrió sus puertas a la membresía femenina, marcando un antes y un después en nuestra organización. Hoy, celebramos la presencia de miles de mujeres líderes que sirven con excelencia en nuestros clubes. Su visión, sensibilidad y compromiso han fortalecido proyectos, creado puentes de entendimiento y renovado la esencia de lo que significa Dar de Sí antes de Pensar en Sí. No se trata solo de igualdad; se trata de enriquecernos como organización al incorporar todos los talentos disponibles para construir un mundo mejor.
🔵 La Conferencia Bi Distrital: un encuentro de unidad y propósito
En pocos días, rotarios y rotarias de los Distritos 4240 y 4250 nos reuniremos en la ciudad de Panamá para celebrar nuestra Conferencia Bi Distrital, una oportunidad única para compartir experiencias, aprender de otros líderes de servicio y renovar nuestra pasión por Rotary. Será también el momento para reconocer trayectorias ejemplares, estrechar lazos entre clubes y sembrar ideas que florecerán en proyectos sostenibles. Esta conferencia no solo marcará el fin de un año rotario, sino también el inicio de nuevas amistades y alianzas.
🟢 Una transición con propósito
El mes de junio se aproxima, y con él el cierre del periodo 2024-2025. Es momento de evaluar lo logrado, agradecer a quienes han liderado con entrega y preparar el camino para una transición fluida. Pasar la batuta no es un simple acto protocolar; es un compromiso con la continuidad, la innovación y la visión compartida de nuestros clubes. Cada proyecto que iniciamos merece seguimiento, cada sueño necesita impulso, y cada socio nuevo requiere guía y acompañamiento. Recordemos que Rotary no empieza ni termina con un año: somos parte de un legado en constante evolución.
💙 Gracias por servir con entrega, por creer en la fuerza del compañerismo y por construir paz desde el servicio. Que esta semana esté llena de nuevas oportunidades para crear esperanza en el mundo.

🟡 The admission of women into Rotary: a milestone that transformed our service
Thirty-seven years ago, Rotary International opened its doors to women, marking a defining moment in our organization’s history. Today, we proudly celebrate the presence of thousands of women leaders who serve with excellence in our clubs. Their vision, empathy, and dedication have strengthened projects, built bridges of understanding, and renewed the very essence of Service Above Self. This is not just about equality—it’s about enriching our organization by including all talents to build a better world.
🔵 The Bi-District Conference: a gathering of unity and purpose
In just a few days, Rotarians from Districts 4240 and 4250 will gather in Panama City to celebrate our Bi-District Conference, a unique opportunity to share experiences, learn from service leaders, and renew our passion for Rotary. It will also be a moment to recognize exemplary service, build stronger bonds among clubs, and plant the seeds of sustainable projects. This conference will not only mark the end of a Rotary year—it will ignite new friendships and collaborations.
🟢 A transition with purpose
As June approaches, so does the close of the 2024–2025 Rotary year. It is time to reflect on what we’ve achieved, to thank those who have led with dedication, and to prepare for a smooth leadership transition. Passing the torch is not just a ceremonial act—it is a commitment to continuity, innovation, and shared vision. Every project we begin deserves follow-up, every dream needs support, and every new member requires guidance and mentorship. Let us remember: Rotary does not begin or end with a single year—we are part of a legacy in constant evolution.
