Carta de Domingo: La Visión del Gobernador en las Visitas a los Clubes
Queridos compañeros rotarios,
Cada visita a un club es una ventana abierta a la esencia misma del servicio rotario. Para un Gobernador de Distrito, estas visitas no son meramente un acto protocolario; son una oportunidad invaluable de compartir en la intimidad del club, conocer de cerca a los socios y entender lo que realmente les apasiona al momento de servir a sus comunidades.
Es en estos encuentros donde se revela el verdadero corazón de Rotary. A través de la sensibilización y la empatía, el Gobernador se conecta con cada rotario, aprendiendo de sus experiencias, sus luchas y, sobre todo, de sus logros. Esta cercanía fortalece la unidad y permite una visión más clara de las metas compartidas.
Recorrer cada uno de los clubes es un trabajo arduo, pero es también un privilegio. Nos permite conocer de primera mano los proyectos que se están realizando y las maneras en que cada club impacta su entorno. Estos intercambios no solo enriquecen al Gobernador, sino que también inspiran y motivan a cada socio a continuar con su labor, sabiendo que forman parte de una red más amplia y solidaria.
En cada visita, el Gobernador se lleva consigo un poco del espíritu de cada club, acumulando conocimientos y experiencias que, sin duda, se convierten en las piedras angulares de su liderazgo. Es en estos momentos compartidos donde se construyen las bases de un Rotary más unido, en amistad y en paz, alineados bajo el lema de mi año: «Unidos en Servicio, Amistad y Paz».
Les animo a recibir al Gobernador con los brazos abiertos, a compartir sus proyectos y sus sueños, porque en cada visita se teje una parte más del gran tapiz que es nuestra comunidad rotaria.

Sunday Letter: The District Governor’s Vision During Club Visits
Dear Rotarian friends,
Each club visit is an open window into the very essence of Rotary service. For a District Governor, these visits are not merely a protocol; they are an invaluable opportunity to share in the club’s intimacy, to get to know its members, and to understand what truly drives them when they serve their communities.
It is during these encounters that the true heart of Rotary is revealed. Through sensitivity and empathy, the Governor connects with each Rotarian, learning from their experiences, challenges, and most importantly, their achievements. This closeness strengthens unity and allows for a clearer vision of shared goals.
Visiting each club is hard work, but it is also a privilege. It allows us to witness firsthand the projects being carried out and the ways each club impacts its community. These exchanges not only enrich the Governor but also inspire and motivate each member to continue their work, knowing they are part of a broader, supportive network.
In every visit, the Governor carries with them a piece of each club’s spirit, accumulating knowledge and experiences that undoubtedly become the cornerstones of their leadership. It is in these shared moments that we build the foundation for a more united Rotary, in friendship and peace, aligned under this year’s theme: “United in Service, Friendship, and Peace.”
I encourage you to welcome the Governor with open arms, to share your projects and dreams, because with each visit, another piece of the great tapestry that is our Rotary community is woven together.With Rotary regards,
