Carta de Domingo: ¡Iluminemos el camino de la educación!
Querida familia rotaria,
En el corazón de nuestro compromiso con la humanidad late la convicción de que la educación es la herramienta más poderosa para transformar el mundo. Septiembre, el mes de la Educación Básica y la Alfabetización en Rotary, nos invita a reflexionar sobre nuestro impacto y a renovar nuestro ímpetu para apoyar esta causa fundamental.
Un llamado a la acción: los Premios de Educación Básica y Alfabetización
El Grupo de Acción de Rotary para la Educación Básica y la Alfabetización (BELRAG) celebra cada año los proyectos más ejemplares que impulsan la educación. Este es el momento de compartir las iniciativas de nuestros clubes y de demostrar cómo estamos creando un cambio real en nuestras comunidades.
Los proyectos elegibles deben ser iniciativas actuales y en curso que tengan un impacto positivo en la capacidad de la comunidad para ofrecer educación a niños y adultos. No se trata solo de un informe; es una oportunidad para inspirar a otros y reconocer el arduo trabajo de nuestros socios.
¡Premios que potencian nuestro impacto! Este año, BELRAG otorgará cuatro premios de $500 USD a los proyectos más destacados. De estos, tres premios están destinados a proyectos de Clubes Rotarios y uno a un proyecto de Clubes Rotaract. Esto no solo reconoce la labor realizada, sino que también brinda recursos adicionales para continuar nuestra misión.
La fecha límite es ahora
El plazo para presentar las solicitudes es el 30 de septiembre. ¡No esperen hasta el último minuto para compartir su historia de éxito! La presentación se realiza en línea.
Para ser elegible para la presentación, la persona que presenta el proyecto debe ser un miembro actual de BELRAG. Si aún no eres parte de este grupo de acción, te invito a unirte y a ser parte de esta red global de apoyo a la educación.

Sunday’s Letter: Let’s Light the Way for Education!
Dear Rotary family,
At the heart of our commitment to humanity lies the conviction that education is the most powerful tool to transform the world. September, Rotary’s month for Basic Education and Literacy, invites us to reflect on our impact and renew our drive to support this fundamental cause.
A Call to Action: The Basic Education and Literacy Awards
The Basic Education and Literacy Rotary Action Group (BELRAG) celebrates the most exemplary projects that promote education each year. This is the time to share our clubs’ initiatives and show how we are creating real change in our communities.
Eligible projects must be current and ongoing initiatives that have a positive impact on a community’s ability to provide basic education to children and adults. It’s not just a report; it’s an opportunity to inspire others and recognize the hard work of our partners.
Awards That Boost Our Impact!
This year, BELRAG will grant four awards of $500 USD to the most outstanding projects. Of these, three awards are for Rotary Club projects, and one is for a Rotaract Club project. This not only recognizes the work done but also provides additional resources to continue our mission.
The Deadline is Now
The deadline to submit applications is September 30th. Don’t wait until the last minute to share your success story! Applications are completed online.
To be eligible to submit, the Rotarian or Rotaractor presenting the project must be a current member of BELRAG. If you aren’t yet part of this action group, I invite you to join and be part of this global network supporting education.
