Carta de Domingo – Inicio del Año Rotario 2024-2025
Queridos amigos Rotarios del Distrito 4240,
Es con gran alegría y honor que asumo el papel de Gobernador del Distrito 4240 para el año Rotario 2024-2025. Agradezco profundamente esta oportunidad de servir y trabajar junto a cada uno de ustedes, inspirados por el lema de nuestra Presidenta Stephanie Uchick, «La Magia de Rotary», y mi propio lema, «Unidos en Servicio, Amistad y Paz».
Al iniciar este nuevo año, les invito a todos a abordar nuestras metas con entusiasmo y determinación. Tenemos ante nosotros objetivos claros y significativos: aumentar la membresía y crear nuevos clubes, incrementar las aportaciones a la Fundación Rotaria y difundir el mensaje de nuestras obras a través de todos los medios posibles de Imagen Pública. Estos objetivos son alcanzables si trabajamos juntos, unidos por la magia que Rotary trae a nuestras vidas y a nuestras comunidades.
No podemos olvidar que estamos a un paso de erradicar la Polio. Esta lucha ha sido larga y ardua, y estamos más cerca que nunca de eliminar esta enfermedad de la faz de la Tierra. Sin embargo, no debemos bajar la guardia; nuestra dedicación y esfuerzo continuado son esenciales para lograr este objetivo histórico.
Hoy, más que nunca, es crucial que trabajemos en proyectos conjuntos entre varios clubes. Un ejemplo brillante de esto es el Proyecto de las Aulas Interactivas, que estamos a punto de iniciar. Este proyecto no solo beneficiará a nuestras comunidades locales, sino que también fortalecerá los lazos entre nuestros clubes y destacará el impacto positivo que podemos tener cuando unimos fuerzas.
Además, quiero subrayar la importancia del aprendizaje continuo. Rotary está en constante evolución, y es vital que todos estemos actualizados con los cambios y novedades que se generen. El conocimiento y la capacitación constante nos permitirán ser más efectivos en nuestros roles y maximizar el impacto de nuestros proyectos y actividades.
Finalmente, quiero animarles a todos a abrazar este nuevo año Rotario con un espíritu de camaradería y compromiso. Juntos, podemos hacer de este año uno de los más exitosos y gratificantes para nuestro distrito.

Sunday Letter – Start of the Rotary Year 2024-2025
Dear Rotarian friends of District 4240,
It is with great joy and honor that I assume the role of Governor of District 4240 for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. I deeply appreciate this opportunity to serve and work alongside each of you, inspired by our President Stephanie Uchick’s motto, «The Magic of Rotary,» and my own motto, «United in Service, Friendship and Peace.»
As we begin this new year, I invite all of you to approach our goals with enthusiasm and determination. We have clear and meaningful objectives before us: to increase membership and create new clubs, increase contributions to the Rotary Foundation, and spread the message of our works through all possible means of Public Image. These goals are achievable if we work together, united by the magic that Rotary brings to our lives and our communities.
We cannot forget that we are one step away from eradicating Polio. This fight has been long and arduous, and we are closer than ever to eliminating this disease from the face of the Earth. However, we must not let our guard down; Our dedication and continued effort are essential to achieve this historic goal.
Today, more than ever, it is crucial that we work on joint projects between various clubs. A shining example of this is the Interactive Classrooms Project, which we are about to launch. This project will not only benefit our local communities, but will also strengthen the ties between our clubs and highlight the positive impact we can have when we join forces.
Furthermore, I want to emphasize the importance of continuous learning. Rotary is constantly evolving, and it is vital that we are all up to date with the changes and developments that are generated. Knowledge and constant training will allow us to be more effective in our roles and maximize the impact of our projects and activities.
Finally, I want to encourage all of you to embrace this new Rotary year in a spirit of camaraderie and commitment. Together, we can make this year one of the most successful and rewarding for our district.
